Installed Aug 2021 in a rental house I owned, but the Control Board was intermittently malfunctioning after a few weeks of use. Because I had to make sure the tenant had hot water (or pay $250 a night for a hotel while I waited a minimum of 2 days for the replacement part), I was forced to buy another identical water heater and replace it the same day. Takagi has excellent customer service, so they sent me a brand-new Control Board for this which I never installed and is included.

Don’t know why, but Takagi gave it several different model numbers for the same unit.  Technically this is Model Number AT-KJr3U-IN or TK3 for short.  Also called a ZR41 and TK-100U-1.  Pix of it on the wall were taken right before removal so that’s what is in the box.  The box is from the replacement which was bought from the same supplier just a few weeks after this was installed, so everything on the box labels except for the serial number should be the same.  It DOES WORK but there is NO warranty on this.

Comes with the original Installation and Operation Manual, I am also including the FACTORY Service and Repair Manual which is ONLY AVAILABLE TO TAKAGI REPAIR TECHNICIANS.

I was saving this heater in case the other one broke, but it’s been working for 4 years without fail, so I don’t need this anymore.
