Before I begin, please be aware that the information here WILL be painful at first because it will be different than what is being taught in churches and seminaries, but in the end the joy and blessing of finally understanding Revelation will be extremely rewarding.
To begin, I recently saw a YouTube video of Voddie Baucham explaining that a survey of Church goers and pastors revealed that the book most people want more sermons on (Revelation) is also the book pastors want to preach on the LEAST! The reason for not preaching on it is simply that they know in their hearts and minds that they really do NOT understand it. That said, the ones closest to understanding it correctly are also the ones most likely to preach on it, even though they have accepted some false ideas as unquestionable truth. As you may have all ready deduced…. I am about to show you why ALL current teaching on Revelation needs major corrections.
I will likely make many assumptions that you will have a lot of basic knowledge on the New Testament. My apologies for not including the massive amount of proof texts and Bible verses that repeat what I am saying so that this listing can be condensed as much as possible.
For instance, Jesus explained that ALL prophecy concerns Him. Also, it is important to remember that God never acts in or upon the earth without first telling His people what He will do. From the beginning, God told His people what to expect through the profits and Revelation is the only prophecy book concerning the now 2000 years of Christian history. This also gets reflected in the Moedim or appointed times which are the 7 most Holy holidays celebrated by the Jewish people for thousands of years before Jesus appeared. I won’t go into detail but each holiday occurs on a specific day and represented and foreshadowed Jesus as the Messiah and redeemer. The first four holidays are Springtime events and you should know that Passover and Pentecost are the bookends in which Jesus became the subject and final conclusion of those holidays. That said, the remaining 3 holidays are Fall events beginning with the “Feast of trumpets” followed by the “Day of Atonement “, then ending with Tabernacles. Do you see it all ready? Yes, the second coming of Christ Jesus will be connected precisely with these holidays in similar fashion as the first coming was connected to the Spring holidays.
So, it is vital to realize that Jewish prophecy did not end in the first century, but instead it was put on hold so to speak. This is referred to as the “gap” theory because the 70th week and all the purposes the whole prophecy was given to fulfill do not get completed until the Messiah Jesus returns. The problem here is that nearly every “expert” says this gap is before the 70th week. Read the free donkey listing on the 70 weeks prophecy so I don’t have to repeat it all here. In summary, the only way to make sense of all Biblical prophecy is to understand that the 70th week is all about Jesus arriving as the predicted Messiah, dying on the cross and being resurrected in the first half of it. That places the “gap” in the middle of the 70th week. That is also the time when the next 2000 years are sealed or hidden from the Jews. This Church Age prophecy is the 2-sided scroll which Jesus begins to open just after He arrives in heaven. When the scroll is completely opened, then the Jews (as a nation) blindness will be lifted. At that time, the Christian believers (the last to believe) will already be the first in heaven. The Old Testament prophecies promising a 1000 year period of peace was given to the Jews and is never part of the promises given to Christians.
The rapture event as described in the New Testament uses words and phrases that match up exactly with the words and phrases used in explaining the meaning and intentions involved with and attached to those Jewish holidays mentioned earlier. But, Christians today know almost nothing about these holidays and so when we hear “no one knows the day or hour”, we interpret it literally to mean it is completely unknowable. However, in the correct context, we should understand that this possibly refers to the first day of the feast of trumpets or Pentecost which occurs on the first day of the week following 49 days after first fruits. Also, the “last trump” has been erroneously interpreted by many as referring to the 7th trumpet in Revelation. However, modern understanding says that the last trump mentioned in rapture verses refers to the final shofar blast on the FIRST day of the feast of trumpets. There are 100 blasts on that day and each one has its own meaning primarily telling the people to “get ready” and humble themselves in a very spiritual sense. I am leaning toward believing that this years (2025) feast of trumpets which was also tied to a blood moon, is merely a warning for people to prepare themselves for the coming tribulation events.
This is reflected in the prophetic passages uttered by Jesus explaining what it will be like in the days leading up to His return. The parables in Matthew 24 & 25 described situations in which half of the people who should be “ready” were not. One taken, one left, 5 foolish virgins not having enough oil, shepherds not feeding the flock, and another foolish servant hiding the single coin given to him instead of putting it in the bank to at least earn a little bit of interest. The “judgment” on them is swift, unexpected, and seemingly severe. The last trumpet blast is the loudest and longest and signifies that it is now time for judgment to begin.
In terms of the rapture, that means three groups of people.. the first are those “worthy” who are snatched away and will “escape the wrath”. The other two are the “cold” who are never going to accept Jesus and the “lukewarm” who are spat out or deemed “un-worthy” because they believed that all that is required of them is to merely “believe” that Jesus died for their sins and yet never accepted Jesus as Lord over their entire being. As a side note here, the book of Gad describes 3 books of judgment concerning God’s people. The just are taken away (like Isa. 57:1), the unredeemable are given over to Satan and the other book concerns those who are “on the fence” so to speak and are given another 10 days to decide. That refers to the coming day of atonement 10 days after the feast of trumpets begin.
Doctrinal beliefs in most churches reject any interpretation that requires any sort of obedience on our part. But, Scripture and prophecy and the very words of Jesus are loaded with verse after verse saying just that. Do not confuse or join together obedience with religious works for they are definitely not the same. Can a slave or servant expect more pay or reward just for doing his/her job. Their job consists of “work” that is expected and required. Religious work associated with legalist doctrines are “extra” works that are added to the necessary work we should already be doing on a daily basis without recognition or expectation of payment or recognition. The phrase “knowing Jesus” or some form of it appears often in relation to the passages mentioned above concerning the rapture and 2nd coming. “Knowing” Jesus goes far deeper than a mere knowledge or acceptance of who He is and the provision of forgiveness of our sins through faith. Prophecy practically screams this throughout the Bible and yet modern teachings and beliefs have been slowly replacing that truth with deceptive feel good preaching that is nearly at a point in which they declare that repentance is no longer necessary for salvation. They are at a point very similar to past times when the Jewish people became stiff necked and rebellious against God. At those times, Jewish leaders rejected and killed the true prophets and would only listen to ones whose message contained good reports and promises of protection and blessings from God instead of judgment and punishment. Their arrogance stemmed from not understanding Scripture and prophecy correctly. The modern day churches (Christians) believe that God will not allow any harm to fall upon them simply because they proclaim the name of Jesus and operate without “fear and trembling”. They believe that the rapture is an entitlement given to all who simply profess the name of Jesus.
Sorry, I got a bit long-winded there, but I felt it necessary groundwork for the rest to follow.
My goal at the moment is to outline how Scripture lines up the rapture in relation to the tribulation and 2nd coming and even the millennial reign. If you have not read the Free Donkey listing on the 7 thunders, I strongly recommend it in addition to all the others. The creation voice of God described as “thunder” is when God supernaturally intervenes through Jesus with His creation - the universe, the earth, and everything on it. The first 2 Thunders concerned events marking the start of the “Church Age” – the ascension of Jesus (first fruits) and the opening of the first seal (the release of the Holy Spirit). The 3rd Thunder is the rapture and end of the Church Age. With the true believers and the Holy Spirit gone, God’s attention returns to the Jews and the completion of the last half of the 70th week of Daniel. In the first century, the Jews were spiritually blinded so that prophecy could be fulfilled and the whole world could be saved (not just the Jews).
With the 2nd coming at the day of Atonement, you have to know that there needs to be at least 3.5 years between it and the rapture. All groups or persons spoken of in Revelation are only given 3.5 years to do whatever they need to do. The extra days or months between the rapture and the actual start of the 3.5 year tribulation are contained within the words of the first 5 trumpets and Rev. 12 describing Satan and his followers in a war in heaven before being cast down to earth.
So, the tribulation period has a lot going on as seen in the middle chapters of Revelation. The months immediately after the rapture should be marked by great confusion, fear, and panic here on earth. The only things mentioned in prophecy are confined to the 6th seal, the marking of the 144k Jews, and possibly the 2 witnesses in Jerusalem although I believe they arrive at about the same time as the Anti-christ. The 6th seal describes great chaos and calamity and people hiding in the clefts of the mountains and praying that the rocks would cover them and protect them from the increasing evil. In prophecy, mountains represent churches or religious groups. These mountains will be strongholds for Satan and God’s people are even implored to “come out of her” after the rapture. These institutions will be destroyed during the tribulation. At the same time, Rev. tells us that people will be seeking out and grabbing the 144k thinking or rather realizing they are special and protected by God. Which, of course, they are. The world will be in chaos and government powers clamoring to regain order and control. Yes, ripe pickings to justify a unified government. Rev. tells us the Anti-christ will arrive later replacing 3 fallen “heads”. The 10 headed beast will be formed soon after the rapture. Three and a half years before the Fall time 2nd coming would go back to Spring and what better time to replicate Jesus than Passover! Remember, all predictions about the timing of the rapture are based on the expected season and year of the 2nd coming. Everyone else uses the false idea of a 7 year tribulation so they will work backwards from the 2000 year anniversary of the cross. Previously they used 2030 (which I believe is correct) and so pointed to 2023 as the time of the rapture and start of the tribulation. Be sure to read the other Free listings to get more details concerning the “date setting” issues. Since that year passed with no rapture, they are abandoning the 2030 cross for a later year and also reworking their “estimations” regarding the year of the cross.
Going back to the Jewish holidays it’s now important to focus in on the Fall feasts to get a deeper understanding of what is going on and why. The feast of trumpets begins with 100 shofar blasts representing a warning of judgment as well as the promise of the coming Messiah. Be aware, Satan’s influence is all ready at work preparing to insert himself in as the Messiah soon after the rapture – taking advantage of all the false interpretations. Many of which declare the Messiah arriving at or right after the rapture (Post-trib) confusing the “first resurrection” phrase in Rev. attached to the end of the tribulation which actually refers to the resurrection of the Jewish saints and tribulation martyrs who will enter the 1000 year reign here on earth. The “2nd” resurrection occurs at the end of the 1000 years and is attached to the white throne “condemnation” judgments which will not include Christians because they will be in heaven and not return until after those judgments are completed. All promises given to Christians or New Testament believers are that we will be in heaven during the entire 1000 years as “part of the New Jerusalem”. A particularly disturbing thought about this subject involves current Christian beliefs that say God is done with the Jews and that setting up the Millennial reign of Jesus must be accomplished by US! Many well meaning Christians today are of the persuasion that we humans must set up and reign over that Millennial kingdom.
Now, let’s look at the idea of Pentecost being the time of the rapture. The third thunder involves the removal of the Holy Spirit, so it makes sense for it to occur on the same day that it was given. Christ as first fruits, then those who belong to him later. The rapture involves the Christian believers and so it also makes sense to attach it to the Spring holidays while the Fall holidays will focus on the Jews and their promises being fulfilled. The first wheat gathering is honored at Pentecost which happens on the first day of the week after 49 days from the start of the “Feast of Weeks”. This also involves the waving of two loaves of bread. So, I can see how Spring of 2027 would be an appropriate time for the rapture to occur assuming I am right about 2030 being the 2nd coming. There are also NT references to the rapture as a parable related to gathering wheat. The tares (weeds) are allowed to grow together with the wheat. Finally, Remember the 2nd coming will not be a mystery because we have many time references to it occuring 3.5 years after the anti-christ, rapture, and two witnesses.
When Ezra completed the walls in Nehemiah, the people eagerly desired to hear the word of God. They listened to Ezra read Scripture for about 18 hours straight. They were convicted and repented of their sins and humbly turned their faces, “weeping” toward God. This was done on the feast of trumpets! Sacrifices were made and the people had a renewed zeal for God. The tribulation period will include 3 groups of people… The “weepers” as we just saw, will be convicted and repent and give themselves over to God and His commands, the “teeth gnashers” are those who reject everything about God and His word, and the third group consists of the lukewarm “believers” and those who can still go either way. The phrase “weeping and gnashing of teeth” will ALWAYS refer to this 3.5 year tribulation period right before the 2nd coming. That phrase is never used in prophecy with events attached to end of the Millennial reign judgments and so should not be considered as final eternity related judgment.
Now, let’s look at the Feast of Trumpets holiday…
The first day of the feast of trumpets also describes burnt offerings as a “sweet aroma” to God. This matches the events of the first trumpet which includes the third “thunder”. The dead “in Christ” are raised first, then those who are alive are also “burnt” or given to God as depicted by the descriptions with the first trumpet. Grass and green living things are metaphors for living people – look it up for yourself. So, at this time, I am still unsure as to whether the rapture will occur in September of 2026 or Spring of 2027. It could be either and still line up with prophecy. Without exact dates like the precise year of the cross, we cannot pinpoint with great accuracy the year of the 2nd coming. Ancient Jews understood and used Jubilees to measure time. These are 7 units of 7 year periods or 49 years to mark a Jubilee. The 50th year following is also considered a high Sabbath year of rest. Linking major Biblical events by Jubilees yield staggering results which align and connect perfectly with Jubilee years.
As long we have a known starting or ending point, we can use Jubilees to determine the unknown start or end point. Something I recently uncovered along this line of thought concerns the known year of the judgement against the 1st century Jews – 70AD. This was exactly 40 years after the cross. Now, if you count 40 Jubilees you get 1960 years. Israel became a nation on May of 1948 and we must understand that God’s timing is exact and end time events will be precisely numbered and planned ahead. Again, 1948-70 equals 1878. 1960 minus 1878 equals 82 years remaining to the next 40th Jubilee after the 70AD diaspora. 1948 plus 82 equals 2030! Exactly 2000 years after a 30AD cross!
Another point to remember about the arrival of the Anti-christ involves a peculiar passage in Rev. 9 where it appears that there will be a time of 5 months in which people will desire death and seek it out but cannot die? I truly believe this is the first five months of the 3.5 year reign of the Anti-christ. This likely occurs then because we also know that the Anti-christ receives an apparently mortal wound but yet does not die. This will make many look at him and believe he is the Messiah just on that fact alone, but he will also declare to the world (with the blessings of the Pope -?-) that he is the Messiah. This will mimic exactly what Jesus did in the first century. Jesus proclaimed that “He” was the temple. Do not believe the false teachings about a third temple being built, it would be a blasphemy before God. Remember God destroyed the temple in 70ad for their unbelief. Why would He allow it to be built again only to be used by the anti-christ? Also, why would the anti- christ want to stop the blasphemy against God (the sacrifices) once they start up again?
Again, very important to understand Daniels 70 week prophecy correctly. Dispensationalism has largely been rejected by nearly all of the Christian churches in favor of “Covenant theology” which is merely another form of replacement theology rooted in Amillennialism or the rejection of the 1000 year reign for the Jewish people. It now shows up in Premillennialism believing that we have replaced the Jews in prophecy. In other words they believe the Jews must become Christians. They believe God’s promises to them are transferred over to the Christians. As stated before, our promises are to be in heaven NOT here on earth. The caveat here must be stated that those rejected by Jesus at the rapture are cast into the tribulation (the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth) and if they die because they reject the mark of the beast, then they are raised in the “first resurrection” at the 2nd coming. They will enter the earthly 1000 year reign along with everyone else who is still alive. However, all raptured believers will remain in heaven until after the “condemnation judgment” or “white throne” judgment which occurs after the 2nd resurrection which occurs at the end of the 1000 years. This happens on earth and so, those in heaven will NOT take part in it!

All the pieces to this giant sudoku like puzzle are given to you in these Free listings, but, like a sudoku puzzle, the pieces can be solved in many different ways, but the truth will only be revealed if all the small puzzles fit together correctly thus solving the large sudoku puzzle in addition to the smaller ones within it. That is what you are getting now, but if you insist on holding onto those pieces which only serve to confuse and mix up the information into something that makes no sense as a whole, and also does not even make sense in the context in which they present them, then the small details that I point out as ‘truth pins’ holding it all together will only serve as obstacles that you will be forced to ignore or make up your own interpretations just to make them appear to be reasonable.
