Installation Made Easy:
Simple Bolt Removal: Remove the single bolt securing your Deathgrip to the tripod.
Replace Bearings: The existing bearings and bushings will no longer be needed, leaving a hollow casting.
Quick Setup: Insert the bushing from the bottom, secure it with the new bolt and washers, and attach the ball head. (Tip: Add a dab of Loctite for extra security!)
Compatibility Note: If you wish to retain use of your Deathgrip saddle, simply add the adapter plate (included). This plate attaches to the Deathgrip saddle and locks into the Arca-Swiss ball head.
Weight Considerations:
Weight Savings: If you do not reattach the Deathgrip saddle you save approximately 2.5 lbs.
